As thousands of darkly-dressed music fans descend upon Camden town, we join the masses to discover what fresh talent Camden Rocks Festival has to offer. Read on for our thoughts on just on a handful of the performances from the day... speaking of which, can someone invent a time machine already so that we can be at three stages at once?

After rescheduling their original London gig back in November following the tragic Paris shootings at the Eagles Of Death Metal gig at the Bataclan, Deftones made their way to Wembley Arena and the White Pony’s couldn't keep us away!

Now in its tenth year, Slam Dunk Festival weekend is a highlight for many music lovers across the country. 2016 saw the relocation of Slam Dunk Midlands to Birmingham’s NEC, we headed down to check out some of BTN’s favourite bands on what looked set to be a brilliant day of live music.

Over the last 12 months Sussex based quartet Black Peaks have been a band that anyone with a keen interest in up & coming rock music in Britain has been keeping an eye on, after delivering some very promising singles and some outstanding sets at 2000 Trees, Hevy Fest and on tour with Lonely The Brave last year. Embarking on their first UK headline tour, we caught them at the famous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow to see if they're worth the hype.

Not too long ago we reviewed Cheap Meat’s debut EP The Parts That Show, we pretty instantly fell in love with their rocked up pop-punk sound. To celebrate their EP release they held a free release show at Camden’s The Black Heart, so we headed down for a Thursday night full of fun.

HECK (the artist formerly known as Baby Godzilla) play the Cathouse in Glasgow tonight supporting their debut album Instructions, and despite the turnout (or lack of), the quartet continue to be the best live band on the planet.

The first ever Scuzz Throwdown tour rounded off in London’s Borderline last week, featuring the likes of Allusondrugs, Press to Meco and Max Raptor we headed down for what was to be an incredible night. It might not have been the smoothest tour with illness striking two of the bands along the way but with everyone back and almost fighting fit, it was time to send the tour off in style!

In the middle of the rows of cluttered shops - sticking out like a real tan in Essex - is the Troxy Theatre in Limehouse, London. This diamond in the rough, art deco theatre really is such a special venue and tonight it couldn't match its host, City and Colour, more beautifully.

If you aren't familiar with the annual hootenanny that is the famed Kerrang! Tour then where have you been? Living under a rock! Every year those dudes bring us the best of the best in our generations new blood bands with a mix of rock royalty, we checked out this year's festivities as the tour rolled into Manchester's prestigious Albert Hall.

Watching The Front Bottoms play a show is watching them at their most comfortable. They are, through and through, a DIY touring band who know how gain fans live and convert even the most sceptical spectator. We’re excited to see that the new opportunities presented to these guys have already kicked their live up a notch; making it the best it’s ever been.
