The music scene in Australia is absolutely thriving, producing some of the most exciting and promising bands to emerge in the last few years. From indie to rock to metal, and even some that throw genres out the window, we've picked some of our favourites acts that should be on your radar.

After locking themselves away in a remote cottage to remove all distractions, TENSIDE are showing the world what they're made of with new album 'Glamour & Gloom'. The German metal quartet are marking themselves as ones to watch, having appeared at some of the biggest metal festivals in Europe and Asia, shared stages with bands including Trivium and Bad Wolves, and more recently spent time on the road alongside Killswitch Engage. We caught up with vocalist/guitarist Daniel Kuhlemann to chat about the band's aims, how Rage Against The Machine had such a huge impact on him and more.

Indie/emo quintet Marigolds are back with a fresh line-up, welcoming Poppy Johnson on vocals and keys, and ready to share their second EP 'Hot Springs', out this month via Beth Shalom Records. Heading in a new direction with their latest release, we caught up with guitarist/vocalist Joe Maguire to find out more about Marigolds, from their influences to their aims and what we can expect from them in 2020.
