Stray From The Path are a band that have paid their dues time and time again. The band have been a testament to the fact that hard work inevitability pays off and with this current UK run selling out all but one of its six dates, we venture to the biggest night of the tour at the famous O2 Academy Islington in North London.
Following the release of their fifth studio album 'The Trouble With Boys', pop legends Scouting For Girls are currently out on their annual pre-Christmas tour. Hitting Bournemouth’s O2 Academy on a cold Thursday night, we had a feeling we’d be warmed up thanks to a night of great pop-singalongs.
This month one of the hardest sounding tours of the year brings itself to the UK, beginning in London at ULU. Knocked Loose bring a package stacked with heavy hitting sounds in support of their stunning album A Different Shade Of Blue, but have they left themselves open to being upstaged by their incredible supporting package?
Following on from the release of their debut album Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow, Yonaka headed out on tour earlier this month for a series energetic and chaotic live shows. Check out what went down at the Glasgow show in our photo gallery and review here.
Following on from the release of 2018 album Prequelle which received a rich throng of positive feedback Swedish rockers Ghost embarked on a UK arena tour which rolled into Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena last week. The show was in the running for the most impressive stage setup/performance delivered by a rock band in Cardiff during 2019.
As far as line-ups go when you put Nervus, Cultdreams and Milk Teeth on the same bill you’re guaranteed to not only have a great night of live music, but also a crowd of open-minded fans willing to embrace and enjoy everything thrown their way. When this tour rolled into The Anvil in Bournemouth last week we got to experience the strength and solidarity of this scene first hand and had a great time in the process.
Las Vegas, the city known for its monumental buildings, 24-hour casinos and spellbinding lights is also home to Las Rageous, which descended upon the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center last month for two days of rock and metal. We ventured across the pond for our very first Las Rageous and came back with some unforgettable memories, including hard-hitting headline performances from Bring Me The Horizon and Rob Zombie.
Making their mammoth return to UK soil following their appearance at All Points East Festival earlier this year, Florida’s formidable rockers Sleeping With Sirens winded down their UK leg of the How It Feels To Be Lost tour in London. It saw the Orlando outfit perform a sold-out show at Camden’s 1500 cap Electric Ballroom; a gig which was guaranteed to be both intensely intimate and enormously explosive.
Everyone loves a co-headline tour, especially when those co-headliners are Refused and Thrice. Last year Thrice released their latest album Palms through Epitaph Records whilst Refused made their long-awaited comeback in 2015 with Freedom. When the tour recently rolled into Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow we were there to see just what the night held.
Growing old gracefully is something few bands manage. Opeth have managed it better than most, this second prog focused stage of the band’s career has split fans. Some hate it, some love it, some...like bits of both. Having released their thirteenth studio album In Cauda Venenum back in September, we were expecting a trip down memory lane through their extensive back catalogue and their Glasgow show did not disappoint on this front.
