Tropic Gold have released a video for their new single GET OVER IT, taken from their new EP What A Wonderful Experience.
“With the daily torment of what feels like never ending noise, GET OVER IT comes from a place of seeing a version of yourself that you want to be, like being reunited with someone,” the band shares. “The chorus saying “I’ve been waiting for you”, after not knowing whether you should bother anymore because it looks like that person or versions of you might not turn up. Someone only needs to see a glimmer of hope to push them back into a more stable head space.
“We love making videos just as much as writing songs, so if we get a last minute idea like this one, we will just dive head first, hire some camera gear and plan it all out. The video really runs off the back of Maniac, with Jacob shotting meds to continue a wonderful experience and flying straight back into what looks like a different state of mind.”
