The Lawrence Arms have revealed a lyric video for their new single Last, Last Words, taken from their forthcoming album Skeleton Coast.
“[Last, Last Words] is about coming to terms with your own obscurity – but like, in a pretty upbeat way,” says vocalist/guitarist Chris McCaughan. “It’s an escape dream to an edge of the world while being strangely content with some undergrown adulthood. It’s part undercover love song to the sometimes beautiful randomness of the universe and part offbeat, comical reminder to keep rewriting your unknown future. Like so much of the record, the song chases tiny flashes of light in the darkness.”
