Vevo have launched a new episode of their Watch This series, featuring The Killers and their music video for The Man.
Watch This brings a camera to the “comments” section of a music video, offering an inside-scoop commentary from The Killers themselves as they look back at the video for The Man. The new episode follows the band’s other videos in the series, where they look back on Mr Brightside (HERE), When You Were Young (HERE) and Bones (HERE).
“I think we’re exploring falsehoods and old outdated notions of what it means to be a man, and sometimes the veneer that you can put on,” comments vocalist Brandon Flowers as he looks back on The Man. “I guess it’s about the fragility of the male ego. Everything just gets worse and worse as the video goes on.”
