2016 has seen Nothing But Thieves tour almost solidly in support of their self-titled debut album, which was released in November last year. To round off a crazy twelve months the quintet played three of their biggest headline shows to date - all of which sold out in advance - ending with a performance at Brixton’s O2 Academy. These guys are riding a huge wave of success and after tonight 's performance this is thoroughly deserved.

Having spent the last two years winning over the hearts of music lovers across the globe with their impeccable live performances, they’ve also somehow managed to create a ten track release of melodic guitar rock with a massive dose of emo thrown in for good measure.

Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats has a reputation for being one of the nicest guys in the business, so we knew our chat with him at Slam Dunk Midlands would be something special. Ahead of the release of their debut album Better Weather we sat down with Jayden Seeley and Luke Rockets from Aussie pop-punk outfit With Confidence to talk albums, pubs, and the future. Having mentioned the hangovers that Slam Dunk North had provided them beforehand, we knew this was going to be a fun chat!
