PHOTO GALLERY: Download Festival 2016 – Friday

We're not ashamed to admit that we're really feeling the festival blues this week after an incredible three days at Download Festival. We may have had no luck with the weather but we were lucky enough to check out some killer bands - here are some snaps from day one!

It’s not been a bad year so far for ZOAX. They released their debut, self-titled album, toured with Funeral For A Friend and already have two festival performances under their belts. With Download Festival imminent, we caught up with the quintet to talk Kendrick Lamar, budget videos and wrestling (and a quick game of Would You Rather? - of course).

There’s no denying that every letlive. fan on the planet was itching for the band to make their glorious return earlier this year, so when the time finally arrived we were, quite frankly, overjoyed. Having recently made their mark on intimate UK venues and with their brand new album imminent, we caught up with frontman Jason Butler to find out exactly what’s been going on since 2013's The Blackest Beautiful.

Eccentric four-piece FALLS - who brand themselves as 'f*ck rock' and 'sass pop' - release their brand new EP One Hundred Percent Strong on Friday via Venn Records. We caught up with the band before they head out on a co-headline run with I Cried Wolf this weekend to hear some of their crazy stories from the road...

MUSIC INTERVIEW: Life On The Road With…The Dirty Nil

This week sees Canadian trio The Dirty Nil return to UK soil after their riotous debut show at London's Black Heart earlier this year. We caught up with guitarist/vocalist Luke to find out some of the band's stories from the road, their touring necessities and more.

Melodic metal outfit Values released their Broken Nation EP through Ghost Music in February, and with support already from the likes of Kerrang Radio, Metal Hammer and Scuzz TV the quintet are heading in the direction of success. We caught up with the band to discuss the EP, what you can expect from their live show and more.

MUSIC INTERVIEW: Adelphia Talk Touring

Alt-rockers Adelphia hit the road later this week in support of Hill Valley High to promote their latest single Chapters. We caught up with the band as they share their stories from the road...

MUSIC INTERVIEW: Millencolin Talk Touring

We were overjoyed when Millencolin returned in 2015 with their eighth studio album True Brew, their first material since 2008's Machine 15. The Swedish skate-punks head back to the UK this week in support of their latest album, so drummer Fredrik Larzon has shared some of his stories from the road - it turns out he injures himself a lot...
