The Sleeping Souls are a name many know as Frank Turner’s bandmates, now the band have announced their debut single Liar / Lover.
The band who have been touring with Turner since 2006 is formed of bassist Tarrant Anderson, pianist Matt Nasir, drummer Callum Green, guitarist Ben Lloyd and vocalist/Turner’s guitar tech Cahir O’Doherty.
“We lie to ourselves and each other as easy as drawing breath. Every lover lies. “Liar/Lover” is about that moment in the breakdown of a relationship when you accept that there’s no repair: only ownership of your own part in its failure,” says the band of the track which was recorded whilst on the road in previous years.
Liar / Lover is out now via Xtra Mile Recordings, available to stream/download HERE. The band are set to release their debut album in 2023, with further details set to follow.
