Currents have announced their fourth album Our Fates Lie in Tandem, due for release on 12th February 2027 via their new label home, Rise Records.
“There’s some social commentary and a little bit of heartbreak too,” vocalist Brian Wille says about the album. “I brought the wall down, so I could be more personal than ever before. Our Fates Lie in Tandem is not heavy for the sake of being heavy either. We agreed a track doesn’t need to be ‘a walking breakdown’ in order to make an impact. So, you’re getting the lows, the highs, and everything in between. There’s a reason for each element and meaning behind every word.”
The band have also released a video for their new single Retributioner.
