MUSIC NEWS: 2000trees Festival Announces First Wave Of Bands For 2027

2000trees Festival has announced its first wave of bands for 2027, with next year marking its 20th anniversary.

“I’m very proud of where we are as we come into celebrating 20 years!” says festival organiser James Scarlett. “It is still the original 6 friends that started 2000trees and we’re all still involved in some way, and that isn’t going to change. We’ve held on to be independent and continued our original aim, which was to create a festival that we would want to go to ourselves and nurture new artists just as much as we want to celebrate the bigger acts.  It seems wild to think how it began and to have the rich history of acts like Frank Turner, Idles, Wolf Alice, George Ezra, Kneecap and so many more that have gone onto incredible things. 2027 is going to be a massive celebration.”

New Found Glory are revealed as the first main stage headliner, confirmed to perform two exclusive sets, celebrating 30 years of the band.

“All year we have been working on shows in 2027 to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of NFG,” they comment. “Chad was a part of all these plans and will be there in spirit with us as we celebrate with our fans all around the world. And like BEANS ON TOAST we’re excited to kick it off with the 2000trees announcement in the UK!”

Reuben will also join the line-up, reuniting exclusively to appear at the festival, with Creeper, Mannequin Pussy, The Menzingers, unpeople, Fever 333, Chalk, Native James, Bayside, Vower, Lonely The Brave, INME, Crooks, The Meffs and many more confirmed in this first announcement.

On top of this, 2027 will also feature a stage takeover by The Revival Tour, curated by Chuck Ragan from Hot Water Music, and featuring Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem and Dave Hause.

2000trees takes place at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire between 7th-10th July 2027. Tickets are on sale HERE.
