FESTIVAL PREVIEW: Manchester Punk Festival

It’s that time of year again! Spring is in the air, and the UK’s favourite DIY punk festival returns for its tenth year—bringing together 140 bands across Manchester’s best venues. Of course, we’re talking about Manchester Punk Festival, and this year promises to be an absolute stormer.

Bring the Noise has been present at the festival for the past few years, and it’s clear that the atmosphere and drama-free vibe of this event are unmatched. This is a community of punks coming together in unison for three days of watching some of the finest bands the world has to offer. Anyone who’s been before knows that while the well-known names are always a draw, it’s the smaller bands that truly define the festival. Year after year, Manchester Punk Festival goes out of its way to give emerging talent a platform. We urge you to explore new names, try new sounds, and soak in one of the most welcoming festival environments in the UK.

To help you navigate the packed line-up, we’ve put together a few of our top recommendations below.
