FESTIVAL NEWS: Takedown Festival Announce 2024 Day Splits & New Artists

Takedown Festival have announced the day splits and further artists for their 2024 event. For the first time, the festival will span over two days and is taking place on 13th and 14th April 2024 at Portsmouth Guildhall.

Joining the line-up will be Pupil Slicer performing their new album Blossom in full, Deijuvhs, Acres, The Hara, Calva Louise, Blanket, Harbinger, Lastelle and  Sumer.

For those looking to start planning their weekends early, the day splits have been announced. On Saturday, the stage headliners will be Creeper on Laney stage, Kid Kapichi on the Total Rock stage, Graphic Nature are closing the ‘Metal For Good’ stage with Mimi Barks taking the headline spot on the ‘Divergent’ stage. Whilst on Sunday, Dinosaur Pile-Up are headlining the Laney stage, Terrorvision are closing the Total Rock Stage, Pupil Slicer are topping the ‘Metal For Good’ stage and URNE are over on the ‘Divergent’ stage.

Speaking about the latest announcements, Kai and Sarah Harris of Takedown Festival Ltd add, “We are excited to unveil the day splits and announce a new wave of bands that will be joining the Takedown 2024 lineup, including the addition of On Wednesdays We Wear Black podcast as our main stage comperes. Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of the metal, alternative, and rock genres remains unwavering, and we are confident that we have crafted a distinctive lineup for this year’s event.”
