Get ready for Mancunian grunge/punk trio Calva Louise heaviest release to date, plus a support slot with Cassyette and a headline UK tour announcement.
The band will be playing their new album 'Datura' in full and running a Toy drive for a local women's shelter at each show.
With roots in Venezuela, France and New Zealand, Calva Louise combine their influences to make waves in the UK music scene, with their own brand of alt-rock that has been setting festivals and venues all over the world alight. We caught up with vocalist Jess Eastwood, drummer Ben Parker, and bassist Alizon Taho at 2000trees to see how the band’s last 12 months have been, and the drastic new direction their music is taking in the very near future.
2000trees was back in action and it's safe to say it still remains as one of the best festivals in the UK.
2000Trees will be returning to Upcote Farm in July with a packed line-up. Find out all the details you need here.
In support of their third studio album 'Don't You Feel Amazing?', Trash Boat recently headed to The Cathouse in Glasgow for a great night of live music. Also on the line-up were Death Blooms, Calva Louise and Strange Bones. Head here to find out about the night and check out our photo gallery.
Calva Louise are a band like no other, their blend of electronics and rock can be as heavy as it is beautiful. The band also share artistic talents as shown in their graphic novels and animated videos that accompany their blockbuster sophomore record 'Euphoric'. We sat down with the trio at Leeds Festival to talk all things Calva Louise.
Over 30 new names have been added to this year's line-up, find out who here.
