FESTIVAL NEWS: Reading & Leeds Festival Release Essential Guide For 2023

Ahead of this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival which takes place between 25th-27th August 2023, the festival has shared an essential guide for all festival goers.

In a change to previous years, single-use disposable vapes, disposable BBQs and campfires are not allowed onsite, this is in support of the Air Quality Action Plan and anyone seen breaking these rules will be evicted from the site. Thinking of taking a bag into the arena? As with all events, keep it small or not at all as bags will need to be searched and only one A4 sized bag per person is allowed into the arena. This year there are likely to be enhanced searches of bags and personal belongings, so to avoid any delays make sure to pack light!

New for this year, are the AIR Hubs in the festivals campsites providing Assistance, Information and Response facilities whilst supporting the current security and stewarding team. Within the hubs will be groups including WAVES, Street Pastors, Salvation Army, Number 5 Counselling, Mind, CGL, RBFRS, SoulScape, and Oxfam who will be on hand 24/7 for the festival-goers.
