Covet have released a video for their new single coronal, taken from their recently released third album catharsis.
“’coronal’ was the clear choice of an album opener,” explains vocalist/guitarist Yvette Young. “It’s sonically so different from a lot of what we’ve previously released and I wanted to start this sonic ‘journey’ impactfully. It’s the only song with clearcut vocals and the lyrics with escapism from a crumbling world. I was hoping the final line, ‘I enter the void again,” would read like an open invitation to dive into the instrumental fantasy world that follows the first track.”
