FESTIVAL NEWS: 2000trees Announce Final Headliner For 2023

2000trees have announced Soft Play (formerly Slaves) as their Thursday night Main Stage headliner. The 2023 edition of the festival is set to take place on 5th – 8th July at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham.

“We’re thrilled to be able to confirm SOFT PLAY (formerly known as Slaves) are headlining the Thursday at 2000trees! New name, same songs, same incredible live show!,” explains organiser James Scarlett. “They first played the festival in an early slot in 2014 before headlining in 2017 – so to have them back again now both the band and festival are bigger and better than ever is going to be something special.”

Alongside the headliner announcement they have also confirmed Dinosaur Pile-Up, Hell Is For Heroes, B-Sydes, Bilk, Beach Riot, CARSICK, congratulations, Clarence, Gaffa Tape Sandy, Haggard Cat, Love Is Noise and NOISY are also joining the line-up. This week they have also announced The Word Stage will be hosting live podcasts each day of the festival between 9am and 11am, the likes of On Wednesdays We Wear Black, 101 Part Time Jobs, Mark & Me3 Is The Magic Number, Punks In Pubs and Sappenin’ will be recording from the tent.

Soft Play will join Friday main stage headliners Bullet For My Valentine and Saturday main stage headliners Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.
