Those Damn Crows have announced their new album Inhale/Exhale, due for release on 17th February 2023 via Earache Records

“It’s meant to be upfront and personal,” explains frontman Shane Greenhall. “It’s supposed to make you sit up and think about how we are all living in today’s society, where the rich are getting richer, and where tech giants are moulding us into whatever and however THEY see fit via technology and social media. Get your heads out of your phones. Look up, WAKE UP!”

The band have also released a video for their new single Wake Up (Sleepwalker).

“When coming up with ideas on how to tell the story of Wake Up, I remembered the scene in The Matrix where Neo and Morpheus were in between worlds and talking in the white rooms, similar to the scene in Willy Wonka where they zap the little boy into the TV,” Greenhall adds. “In the video we are in between the two worlds, The Real World and The Tech World. We hack the system as our message is transmitted to interrupt the algorithms that cleverly influence us while being led by the corporate and tech giants, fuelled by greed and false news, via the portals that they use on us – our smartphones, TVs, tablets, billboards – anything with a screen.”
