Valleyheart have released a video for their new single Your Favorite Jacket, taken from their upcoming sophomore album Heal My Head.
“This song is about comparing mental states to the changing of the seasons and the volatility of the weather,” the band explains. “We never expect nature to be sunny and hot all the time, or cold and snowy and rainy. So when mental shifts happen, why are we so hard on ourselves and confused? It’s about reckoning with the changes happening in our lives by looking at weather as an imagery balance.”
