ME REX have released their new single Skin, It Itches, taken from their upcoming EP Pterodactyl.
“It’s about the non-linear nature of the progression of recovery with mental illness,” explains lead vocalist and principal songwriter Myles McCabe. “Experiencing it in stages, sometimes the same ones over and again. The desire to escape this by disconnecting with the body and the idea of the self, leading to a decline in care and maintenance.”
Pterodactyl is due for release on 4th February 2022 via Big Scary Monsters, available to pre-save HERE.
