Chubby and the Gang have released the music video for their new single I Hate The Radio. The track is taken from their forthcoming second album The Mutt’s Nuts which is set for release on 27th August 2021 via Partisan.
Lead vocalist Charlie Manning Walker says about the songs meaning: “This song is about when you finish a relationship with someone but you have a certain association between them and a song, and then that song comes on the radio. It’s like, ‘man, I never want to hear this song again!’ and then of course you get in the car and it comes on.”
The video for I Hate The Radio was directed/shot by Molly Manning Walker and edited by Lesley Manning, the sister and mother respectively of the Gang’s lead vocalist.

Chubby and the Gang will be heading out on a run of UK/Ireland headline dates later this year. They have also announced a handful of Rough Trade in-stores which will feature performances from the band alongside signings and dog shows with donations going to All Dogs Matter.
