VIDEO NEWS: THE GURU GURU Release Video For New Single ‘honestly (i don’t feel like dancing)’

THE GURU GURU have released a video for their new single honestly (i don’t feel like dancing). The track is taken from the Belgian quintet’s upcoming double vinyl EP It’s A (Doggy Dog) World and Live In Antwerp.
“I am an introvert. I sometimes like dancing. Sometimes I don’t. This past year hasn’t been easy,” says frontman Tom Adriaenssens. “It shouldn’t be that hard for me to admit that I don’t feel like dancing all the time. It should be ok for people to say stuff like this. When I was writing the lyrics for the chorus I felt it had to start with ‘honestly’ because I thought it sounded good… The problem was that it had to be followed by a painful confession… ‘I don’t feel like dancing’ was true at the time and I was sort of embarrassed about it.”
It’s A (Doggy Dog) World is due for release on 25th June 2021 via Rumble Heap Records, available to pre-save HERE and pre-order HERE. Live In Antwerp is only available with the limited edition vinyl.
