MUSIC NEWS: THE GURU GURU Announce Double EP & Release Video For New Single ‘(in) snakes & ladders (stakes don’t matter)’

THE GURU GURU have announced their new double vinyl EP It’s A (Doggy Dog) World and Live In Antwerp, due for release on 25th June 2021 via Rumble Heap Records. Live In Antwerp is only available with the limited edition vinyl.
To celebrate, the post-punk/prog quintet have released a video for their new single (in) snakes & ladders (stakes don’t matter).
“Fate knows no justice. Life is unfair, but rules apply…” says frontman Tom Adriaenssens. “When we started writing the demos for our EP, politician Jan Jambon was in the news a lot… Sadly and controversially, a man had died in pre-trial detention. Jambon claimed ignorance, covering up as ‘a communication error.’ I tried to put myself into this kind of slippery thinking/headspace… life is a game.”
