FESTIVAL NEWS: Slam Dunk Festival Reveals More Artists Returning For 2021
Slam Dunk Festival have revealed more acts for their 2021 event, who will return to Leeds and Hatfield next year from the original 2020 line-up. The 2020 edition of the festival was cancelled last May due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Billy Talent, While She Sleeps, Bury Tomorrow, State Champs, The Used, The Story So Far, 3OH!3, The Wonder Years, Motion City Soundtrack, Young Guns, We Are The In Crowd, Your Demise, Code Orange and more will return from the original 2020 bill.
They will join previously announced main stage headliners Sum 41 and Don Broco, as well as NOFX, Pennywise, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, Reel Big Fish, The Vandals and Face To Face who will appear on the Punk In Drublic stage.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2021, Slam Dunk Festival will complete its line-up with new additions later this year, however there will be no more 2020 artists added to next year’s festival.
“Not delivering Slam Dunk Festival in 2020 was hard, but with 2021 being the 15th anniversary we will be sure to make it a special one for us all,” says Festival Director Ben Ray. “With overwhelming support shown by our fans by keeping hold of their tickets, I felt it was important to try to give them as many of the artists they bought their tickets for as possible. Therefore I’m so happy to be able to confirm the majority will be returning.”
Slam Dunk Festival will take place at the following dates:
Sat 29th – LEEDS – Temple Newsam Park (Slam Dunk Festival North)
Sun 30th – HATFIELD – Hatfield Park (Slam Dunk Festival South)
All tickets retained from Slam Dunk Festival 2020 are valid for Slam Dunk Festival 2021. Limited festival tickets remain at 2020 prices, starting at £69 + booking fees.
