VIDEO NEWS: Tallah Release Video For ‘We, The Sad’

Nu-core quartet Tallah have released a video for their track We, The Sad. The track, which originally features on the band’s 2018 EP No One Should Read This, has been revamped for release on their upcoming debut album Matriphagy

“This song is about being trapped inside your own head, inside the walls of ego and insecurity,” explains vocalist Justin Bonitz. “It is about suppressing your personality because your identity revolves around another person—a person who does not care about you whatsoever. It explores the lack of confidence felt when you become reliant on someone else to tell you who you are. The song is 100% psychological, it is about an identity crisis.”

“When we were in the studio with Josh, we tweaked the songs from No One Should Read This so they had a more connected feel with all the other songs on Matriphagy,” adds bassist Andrew Cooper. “We, The Sad has a sound that’s definitely evolved and escalated over time and in the studio, and we got to create a bigger sound for the album version.”

Matriphagy is due for release on 2nd October 2020 via Earache Records, available to pre-order HERE
