Beach Riot have released a retro Instagram filter arcade game in support of latest single Wrong Impression, which is out now via Alcopop! Records.
The fun filter uses your face movement to fly a spaceship through a sea of waving cats, with an instrumental of the single providing the musical backdrop. If you want to take part in the fun head over to Instagram and search ‘CATNIP 3000’ on filters. Be sure to share your high score with Beach Riot, as the highest scorer will win a yet-to-be-announced special prize. We’ll warn you before you head over to Instagram, it’s more addictive than you might first think!
When discussing the track, the Brighton-based band explained: “Imagine that you had the chance to go back in time to tell your younger self that you turned out alright. You’d do it, right? You’d give your old self some much needed advice and encouragement, and then be on your way? As we can’t go back in time, maybe take a moment. Next time you catch yourself in a reflection let yourself know it’s gonna be OK now. Love yourself <3.”
