MUSIC NEWS: Reckless Love Announce Co-Headline Tour With Dan Reed Network

Finnish rock quartet Reckless Love have announced a UK co-headline tour with funk rockers Dan Reed Network, set to take place in March 2021. Support on all shows comes from rising Scottish outfit Mason Hill

Reckless Love will enter the studio later this month to record a brand new single, with a hopeful release date in August – this will be their first music under a fresh worldwide deal with Universal Finland. The band will also release a new studio album in 2021 via Spinefarm Records in the UK, the follow-up to 2016’s InVader.

“We are so incredibly excited to be coming back to the UK,” says Reckless Love frontman Olli Herman. “It feels like forever since we last toured over there and we have missed it dearly. Although we’re heading over as a part of our Merry Metal Madness world tour, the rock fans of the UK will always have an extra special place in our hearts. They were the first to welcome us, even before the audiences in our home country, when we began our career way back in 2010. We will never forget that. During the past decade, we’ve gathered countless brilliant memories from the road while performing to our fellow Merry Metallers in the UK. Now, we are back for more. We cannot wait to see you all again and we hope that all of our listeners and followers will turn up to celebrate with us. We’re gonna be dealing out ludicrously massive doses of good-time and feel-good anthems!”

Dan Reed Network‘s forthcoming album Let’s Hear It For The King will be released to coincide with the tour dates, which will act as a preview for the new material.

“DRN is truly excited about our next album,” says frontman Dan Reed. “We went back to our roots of bending, breaking and experimenting with the rock music genre. We cannot wait to get back on tour in early 2021 to test these new songs out co-headlining with the stellar high energy band Reckless Love, with the powerful Mason Hill supporting!  At the end of 2019, we celebrated the past, touring in celebration of the 30th anniversary of our 1989 album, ‘Slam’. Then it was time for us to put our laser focus on the future, and we immediately locked ourselves in the studio while the world hibernated to create a collection of songs we believe will blow everyone’s doors off on every level. As our home country struggles yet again with racial strife, trying to find a way through the darkness, we in the band – who have been fighting this battle since our inception with our music and performances – will be releasing this album and hitting the road in honour of that battle, celebrating our differences – differences which make this world so vibrant and ultimately beautiful. Only through harmony can hate be destroyed.”
