Welcome to our new Ones To Watch series! We'll be highlighting some of the hottest up and coming acts from across the globe and first up, it's Australia. The music scene in Australia is absolutely thriving, producing some of the most exciting and promising bands to emerge in the last few years. From indie to rock to metal, and even some that throw genres out the window, we've picked some of our favourites acts that should be on your radar.

More names and stage splits have been announced for Slam Dunk Festival.

What are you listening to at the moment? The chances are, probably at least a few bands that hail from the land Down Under. Many of the young, dynamic artists making waves on the scene are from Australia right now as the country’s music scene is enjoying something of a revival on a global scale. One such band that’s had us really sitting up to take note are Sydney’s Yours Truly, and we were lucky enough to catch up with vocalist Mikaila and guitarist Lachlan at this year’s Download Festival.

This weekend rock and metal fans will return in their thousands to the iconic Donington Park, for another momentous year of Download Festival. With yet another impressive line-up, including headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool, there is plenty to choose from - here are our must-see bands at this year's festival!
