Volbeat have continued doing what they do best - writing songs that rip, sing, swing, and soar, with their ninth studio album 'God of Angels Trust', which they delivered with a confidence that only comes from a band who know exactly who they are.

Volbeat’s expert axeman Rob Caggiano says he is a huge fan of streaming as a convenient way to consume music, but he reckons the whole industry is due a sea of change. Although what change he isn’t sure yet. Caggiano sat down with Bring The Noise UK during Volbeat’s recent mega arena tour of Britain, as he lifted the lid on his thoughts on how modern rock fans consume his band's, and other bands', music.
'Smile' will be released in August 2023, as the band celebrate their 25th anniversary.
As our epic weekend at Download drew to a close, it was left in the hands of the Sunday line-up to round it off in style.
The band will be joined by Skindred, Napalm Death and Bad Wolves across select dates.
The band have also confirmed they've been in the studio working on their upcoming third album.
The one-off show will take place ahead of the band's appearance at Download Festival in 2022.
