Tonight BABYMETAL play their first headline show in Britain in 3 years. Even more exciting is that the rumour mills are going crazy, apparently there’s a new face in the band. With the band ending the night with a huge announcement, BABYMETAL at Brixton was a night set to go down in history.

Can you believe Slam Dunk Festival has come round again? The yearly Bank Holiday celebration of noise and shenanigans officially holds its own as a gigantic bat signal, announcing the arrival of festival season to masses of alternative music fans across the UK.

Most consider the festival season a bit of a none starter if they didn't get the chance to make it to Slam Dunk. Travelling through three major UK locations each year during the May bank holiday music lovers in their hordes religiously flock to the event. With a few big changes to the stage arrangements this year, along with a duel headline setup, we took a trip down to this year's event in Leeds to see what all of the fuss was about.

It was foretold that Slam Dunk Festival comes but once a year, falling on the bank holiday of May. What we know for sure is that the annual event signals the beginning of the music festival season and as always Bring the Noise UK was there to help get the the party started with some of our favourite bands from across the globe.
