In the Scottish summer sunshine, we went on a journey through Peter Hook's musical history.

Teenage Joans have come all the way from Adelaide, Australia to play at Sound City before heading out on their UK tour. Vocalist/guitarist Cahli Blakers and drummer Tahlia Borg took some time to chat with Bring The Noise UK a couple of hours before they performed at the Arts Club Loft. 

We caught up with sibling duo The Molotovs a couple of hours before they took to the Arts Club Theatre stage at Sound City in Liverpool. Issey and Matthew Cartlidge are growing an impressive fanbase around the UK and beyond, after releasing their debut album 'Wasted on Youth' in January.

With this band quickly on the rise, we caught them at the first date of their UK tour.

Some may know the singer-songwriter from previously being the lead singer of Glasgow band Love & Money, but tonight was a solo showcase.

As their extensive tour was coming to an end, it was time for the band to head to Scotland.

We were seeing the Australian band playing their first headline show outside of their country, where better place for it to be that Glasgow!

After a great start to our weekend, it was time for day two in Liverpool.

We always love finding new bands at Sound City and 2026's edition was no exception to this.

The Boxer Rebellion recently released their first album in eight years, following on from 2018's 'Ghost Alive'. Was it worth the wait? Hell yeah!
