Acres have released their new single Welcome To The Family, taken from the upcoming extended edition of the band’s album The Host.
“Welcome To The Family is about how bi polar and mental health issues run in my family and how they have been passed down, from generation to generation,” the band explains. “For a long time I didn’t understand why my family would want to have children knowing this and it’s written within that mindset. I felt it fit perfectly with “the host,” carrying something with you so insidious without being given a choice always seemed unfair.”
The extended edition of The Host is due for release on 26th September 2025 via Solid State Records, available to pre-order and pre-save HERE.
