MUSIC NEWS: Soulfly Announce Thirteenth Album & Release Video For New Single ‘Storm The Gates’

Soulfly have announced their thirteenth album Chama, due for release on 24th October 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records.

“Chama is the Brazilian word for flame,” explains Max Cavalera. “It also means a ‘calling’. Respect to Alex Pereira for using Itsari on his UFC walkouts. Chama is inspired by the energy of this moment. This record is the sound of Soulfly’s fire! I cannot wait to play these songs live for the Tribe! Chama!”

The band have also released a video for their new single Storm The Gates.
