She Wants Revenge have announced their fourth studio album The Loved, due for release on 12th February 2027 – their first full-length in over 15 years.
In light of the announcement, She Wants Revenge have also released a video for their new single BLACK WAX / OUR LOVE.
“We’ve always been fascinated by the contradictions in love: How something can be beautiful and destructive at the same time, and how you can know something isn’t good for you and still find yourself drawn to it,” comments Adam Bravin. “There’s a certain darkness in ‘Black Wax,’ but there’s also an energy and a sense of defiance that we love. It feels like a natural evolution of what SWR has always been about, without trying to recreate something we’ve already done.
“I wanted the video to feel less like a literal interpretation of the song and more like a fragment of a film you walked into halfway through. Something beautiful but unsettling, where the imagery carries as much emotional weight as the music. I’ve always loved the idea of leaving things unresolved, allowing people to bring their own experiences to what they’re seeing.”
