FESTIVAL PREVIEW: Burn It Down 2025

Taking place between 28th and 30th August in Torquay, Burn It Down Festival is back with an even bigger line-up than before for its seventh edition. Taking over three grassroot venues in Torquay, it isn’t just about the music as there’s a skate park, boat party and even wrestling taking place on Saturday.  From Static Dress playing Rouge Carpet Disaster in full, Bob Vylan headlining the Thursday line-up and some of the strongest up and coming artists on the scene including Snayx, Crashface and Bruise Control it’s going to be a weekend to round off the summer.

We’ve taken a look at the line-up and here are our picks from the weekend.

Split Chain

Over at The Foundry, Bristol’s Split Chain will be adding this to their packed list of 2025 shows. Expect to see debut album motionblur showcased during the set and their huge melodies getting jammed within your head. Their genre blending sound leaning towards that of nu-metal and shoegaze has seen them on a constant upwards trajectory so we can’t wait to see them live on Saturday.

Glare

If you’re keen for another shoegaze fix, South Texas outfit Glare are ones to offer this up. Making waves across Spotify with over one million followers and their debut album Sunset Funeral released earlier this year, this will be a chance to enjoy their atmospheric live show.

Mouth Culture

Following on from support slots with Kids in Glass Houses and You Me At Six, Mouth Culture are quickly rising through the ranks and making new fans wherever they go. Burn It Down Festival will be no exception. Guitar-led recent single Regret 101 is going to be a standout moment of their set so take note, get learning those lyrics.

Guilt Trip

A no barrier set from Guilt Trip? Let the chaos begin. The Manchester hardcore outfit have gained a reputation on the scene for their impressive live shows and their set at Burn It Down is one not to be missed. Expect to hear them span their solid discography including latest album Severance and give one of the strongest sets of the weekend.

Cancer Bats

Performing a UK exclusive, the Canadian Hardcore-Punk outfit are going to round off our Sunday spectacularly. We’re no strangers to Cancer Bats’ rowdy live shows led by vocalist Liam Cormier and with this being UK fans only chance to see them live in 2025 we can’t wait for the chaos to be unleashed!
