Kris Barras Band have released a video for their new single Secrets, taken from their upcoming album Halo Effect.
“Secrets is about having to keep a secret for a loved one,” frontman Kris Barras reveals. “You’re bound by keeping it but know that telling the truth will make things better. It’s about guilt eating you away and wanting it all to end. This was actually the first whole song that we wrote for the album. I remember that Josiah and I had been working on the music all day on the tour bus, then after the show that night, I ended up staying awake until 3am writing the lyrics. When the creative juices are flowing, you’ve just got to go with it!
“We shot the video in a church in Essex with Shaun from Loki Films. I’ve been a fan of his work for a while, so it was great to get to work with him. The idea behind shooting in a church was to be confessing our sins, revealing the ‘secret’.”

Halo Effect is due for release on 12th April 2024 via Earache Records, available to pre-order HERE.
Halo Effect – Piano & Acoustic Edition will be available from a limited number of outlets hosting intimate instore events with Kris Barras Band, which will include a short acoustic set with Kris and Josiah, as well as a meet and greet.
