Belmondo have announced their debut EP The Blessed and The Evil, due for release in April 2024 via Silent Cult.
The band have also released a video for their new single Bethlehem.
“I’d just come home from a fight that’d tired me out emotionally. Initially, I was trying to cram a big ‘fuck you’ into a song, but it shape-shifted into a mystical outcry that became Bethlehem,” explains vocalist/bassist Carmen Mellino. “It’s more personal than anything I’ve written, a confession that felt more like an exorcism, overwhelming and cathartic.”
