Pleiades have announced their debut album Affinity With, due for release on 29th September 2023.
The band have also shared a video for their new single, Treppenwitz.
“I’ve written a lot of conceptual story driven songs and this felt more immediate and personal so I wanted it to concentrate on my own self reflection,” says vocalist Andrew Calderbank. “I’d read a book that my friend Ra’ees had recommended to me on vigilance and self reflection. I paraphrased some of it and related it to me personally. “How can you desire purity , when you yourself are so unclean” is the first line of the song and it sums up the message perfectly.”
