JJ Wilde has released her new single Mercy, a song that she describes as “a story of revenge.”
“It is about a man who tries to steal something from a woman,” Wilde explains. “Her sense of self, safety, control. He tries, but he does not succeed. We have all wanted revenge at one moment in our lives, whether it’s just a thought, or we actually go through with it. In this case, it is taken to the extreme, and she is pushed to the absolute limits. This story/song, like many of my songs, comes from personal experience. A story that has taken me over two years to share. This is the story of Mercy.”
