Slipknot have announced they are taking Knotfest to Brazil for the first time. The festival is set to take place on 19th December 2021 at Sambódromo do Anhembi in São Paulo.

The inaugural event will see Slipknot headlining the bill alongside nine other bands across two stages, as well as the Knotfest museum, food park, merchandise store and amusement area for fans on the day. Launched in 2012, Knotfest festival now holds events in Japan, Mexico, Colombia and France.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Magazine, Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan described Knotfest as “a dark carnival experience. It’s not just the shows, but the environment created around it. It’s all about having fun. A day dedicated to our mentality, our ideas, to the people we want to be with. I’m talking about smells, sights, hearing, your body, everything will be overloaded with stimulation.

Tickets for Knotfest Brazil are on sale from 10am Brasilia Standard Time on 26th November 2020. VIP experience packages are also available, you can find out further details and get your tickets HERE.

Slipknot’s latest album We Are Not Your Kind is out now, available to purchase HERE.
