FESTIVAL PREVIEW: Las Rageous 2019

Later this month rock and metal fans will descend upon Downtown Las Vegas Events Center for the annual Las Rageous. Year on year the festival is renowned for featuring some of the hottest names in alternative music, and 2019 is set to be their biggest yet. We’ve chosen some of our favourite acts on the line-up for our must-see feature, check it out below!

Poppy

Poppy Las Regous 2019

Poppy has been turning heads across the UK in 2019, so we’d be very intrigued to witness her live in action at Las Rageous. Currently on tour with Bring Me The Horizon, she will be suitably warmed up for her opening slot at the festival on Friday. With a new album on the cards for early 2020, Poppy combines elements of sugary-sweet pop, electro-rock and metal. It may be impossible to pigeonhole her sound, but one thing we do know is that it’s lots of fun and perfect for a festival atmosphere!

Fever 333
Friday

Fever 333 Las Rageous 2019

Fever 333 may be a relatively new name amongst the line-up, but they certainly don’t lack in experience. Featuring vocalist Jason Aalon Butler (ex-letlive.), drummer AricImprota (Night Verses) and guitarist Stephen Harrison (ex-The Chariot), the trio have been non-stop since their inception, releasing their Made An America EP in 2018, debut album STRENGTH IN NUMB333RS in 2019 and playing as many live shows and festivals as they possibly can. If you’re looking for a chaotic and unruly set this weekend Fever 333 are the band for you!

Bring Me The Horizon
Friday

Bring Me The Horizon Las Rageous

Following the release of their album amo earlier this year, Bring Me The Horizon are set to close the Friday of Las Rageous in style. We were lucky to witness them headline the UK’s All Points East over the summer, and if that was anything to go by then we are in for an unforgettable night. Expect huge singalongs to new material and mosh pits to older favourites, as well as guaranteed non-stop energy from the Sheffield quintet. Trust us, you do not want to miss this!

Beartooth
Saturday

Beartooth 2019 Las Rageous

Returning to Las Rageous for a second year running, Beartooth have been cementing themselves as a jaw-dropping live act during this summer’s festival season – you only have to check out their recent live video from Germany’s Rock Am Ring to see why. The perfect mix of mosh-pit inducing riffs and anthemic choruses, the Ohio quintet know how to get a crowd going and you’ll be left wanting more after their energy-fuelled set.

I Prevail
Saturday

I Prevail 2019 Las Rageous

It’s been a busy year so far for rockers I Prevail. The quintet released their new album Trauma and have been relentlessly touring since, including a headline run in the States and a current string of dates with A Day To Remember and Beartooth. The band have garnered an impressive 1 billion streams and 117 million YouTube views over their career, and it’s easy to see why. Their uplifting rock sound weaves in elements of heavy metal, hip-hop and electronic, so expect singalongs, plenty of movement and a very memorable set from the Michigan five-piece.

Atreyu
Saturday

Atreyu 2019 Las Rageous

Another band returning to the festival is metalcore heroes Atreyu, armed with a back catalogue of classics that will bring bucket loads of nostalgia to Las Rageous. Expect a varied mix of old and new tracks in their set, guaranteed to offer plenty of sing-from-the-top-of-your-lungs moments that will make you want to party like it’s the early 00’s.

Las Rageous takes place between 18th – 19th October at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. For the full line-up, further information and tickets head to the Las Rageous website.
