The Xcerts have released a video for their single Daydream, the second single from their forthcoming album Hold On To Your Heart.
“We were lucky enough to work with Chris Maguire at RIOT.NYC again who also made the video for Feels Like Falling In Love,” explains frontman Murray Macleod. “He makes the whole process so comfortable and fun and we had an absolute blast making the Daydream video. We wanted it to feel pretty frantic as if you are watching a lucid dream come to life. We were really inspired by the movie Spun, only there was no crystal meth involved, just good vibes and a couple of our best friends. Funnily enough, the performance sequence was shot at the Haunt in Brighton where we are kicking off the UK tour. Thankfully i won’t dripping in sweat before reaching the stage this time round! We are so incredibly excited to kick off the tour tonight in Brighton. We are debuting some new songs and we are going to give it all we’ve got. In our eyes, this is the start of the Hold On To Your Heart touring cycle and we are gonna do it right!!”
Hold On To Your Heart is due for release on the 19th January via Raygun Records, available to pre-order in various formats HERE.
