Like your modern alt-rock with a hint of nostalgia? Well look no further than Australia's Waxflower, who released their sophomore EP 'The Sound Of What Went Wrong' earlier this year. In the lead up to the release, the quartet revealed a video for 'The Drama Scene', which frontman Tristan Higginson explains "is a reflection of my social life at the time." We caught up with the band to find out more, including the writing process, themes and stories from behind the scenes.

The track follows the band's EP 'We Might Be Alright', which was released earlier this year. 

Rising Australian quartet Waxflower are on the verge of releasing their new EP 'We Might Be Alright', a heartfelt record that explore hopefulness, unity and finding strength within yourself. We caught up with drummer Daniel Seymour ahead of the release to discuss his first musical memory, the band's formation, influences, ambitions and more.

The band's new EP will be released in April via Rude Records.

The track features guest vocals from Caitlin Henry of Australian rock band Eat Your Heart Out.
