What happens when a band, who have been rising the national ranks in popularity, finally return home for their first headline show since pre-COVID? Well, in YONAKA’s case, absolute chaos, that’s what.
The UK’s biggest party was welcomed back to Bramham Park on the 26th - 28th August 2021. This year Leeds festival had sold-out in record time, and had been sold-out for months, so to say people were hyped would be the understatement of the year.
It's an exciting time for rising four-piece YONAKA. July saw the release of their 'Seize The Power' mixtape, featuring collaborations with Jason Butler of FEVER 333 and Barns Courtney, which they celebrated with a special show at London's Signature Brew. Now, the band are gearing up for an appearance at Reading & Leeds Festival before they hit the road with Nothing But Thieves and Airways in October. We caught up with YONAKA ahead of their upcoming shows, to find out their top touring tips and stories from the road.

The recent ten thousand capacity Download Pilot event witnessed the welcomed live return of a full camping festival as part of the UK Government's pilot scheme to help open up live music.
