Northern Ireland's CATALAN! (the project of Ewen Friers) caught our attention with his lively mix of indie, post-rock, and post-punk on debut album 'Veritas'. Ahead of the release CATALAN! revealed the catchy 'Fortune', a fitting track that "echoes how we consume the world through social media." We caught up with Friers to find out more about 'Fortune', including the writing process, themes, the accompanying music video and more.

While it does show off his personality and wide musical taste, and though it contains some diamonds hidden in the rough, 'CMFT' is a disappointing, middle-of-the-road debut offering from Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman, Corey Taylor.

The uplifting video features a number of famous faces accompanied by their pets, so if you need something to brighten your day we think this video is just the thing!

The two-day event will bring together live music performances, exclusive talks and wellbeing experiences, in support of Help Musicians and Manchester Mind.

The video for 'The Bland Within' follows the first in the series, 'Alone', which the hardcore band revealed earlier this month.

To celebrate the special event Beans On Toast will be joined by guests on the night, whilst adhering to current social distancing measures.

The band will be premiering a new single during the event, which takes place next month.

The Front Bottoms' new album 'In Sickness & In Flames' celebrates life, as the two-piece push forward with a positive and creative energy on the follow-up to 2017's 'Going Grey'. That said, they have openly explained that their new record is one that involves pain, when the pair went through unbelievable life changes - but creativity came to the rescue in helping them to solve their problems. We caught up with the band to find out more...

The track is the band's third single of 2020, following 'Who's Got My Lighter?' and 'Jiu Jits-You'.

The debut release from UK-based stoner-doom quartet Slump is a very promising start, proving that this new band on the scene really can do it all.
