Feeling on top of the world is no surprise seeing as the Scottish quadruped Twin Atlantic broke through the top 40 album chart with ‘Free’. Since then the alt-rock creature has been traipsing countrywide, marking their territory as one of the most promising Scottish bands in recent years and placing them comfortably next to the likes of Biffy Clyro and The Xcerts.

Flood of Red post Video for new single online
It is a good time for Scottish music, with Twin Atlantic and Flood of Red being two of the best break through artists in the UK for 2009. And Biffy Clyro with a new album due out in the near future things couldn’t be better. Keeping the bar raised high are Flood of Red with their latest video for single ‘Home,Run (1997)’ which is to be released on October 5th, it is one hell of a track and we dare you not to like it…
Twin Atlantic release ‘Lightspeed’ as a free download
‘Lightspeed’, the opening track from Twin Atlantic’s mini-album, ‘Vivarium’, has been made available for free download exclusively at www.TwinAtlantic.com from TODAY for a limited time only. Main man Sam Mctrusty had this to say about the choice of making it a free download, “We’ve been away for a little while recording ‘Vivarium’, so we wanted to give something back to our fan base as a thank you for their patience and continued support.”
