On the sunniest Saturday that Download Festival has seen in a while, we had a chat with brother-sister duo Steph and Paul O’Sullivan, AKA Greywind. They’ve had a whirlwind journey of a career journey so far which has led them to Download 2017, and it's the perfect chance for a catch-up.
We headed to Download Festival 2017 to see if the 15th edition would be just as much fun as those before it. With System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith headlining there really was something for everyone to enjoy.
As venues go, a tiny medieval church is a pretty special one to use for your first ever headline show, but then Greywind aren't afraid to take risks – and this one more than paid off.
Greywind released their debut album Afterthoughts on 27th January to great acclaim, and on the same day played their first ever headline show at St. Pancras Old Church in London. We caught Paul and Steph after the soundcheck to have a chat about the album, their whirlwind journey over the last 2 years, and their plans for the future.
Now in its tenth year, Slam Dunk Festival weekend is a highlight for many music lovers across the country. 2016 saw the relocation of Slam Dunk Midlands to Birmingham’s NEC, we headed down to check out some of BTN’s favourite bands on what looked set to be a brilliant day of live music.
Slam Dunk Festival adds brand new acoustic/solo stage and warns of tickets selling fast.
