Young Guns, Millennium Music Hall Cardiff, 05/12/10
Cardiff’s Millennium Music Hall is not the most atmospheric of venues. However, if there are any bands that can light up this place, then they are Set Your Goals, The Swellers and Young Guns. Go-X and Japanese Voyeurs start the night off, followed by the ever lovable Set Your Goals, who were added to the bill only several days earlier. The crowd absolutely love them, and they warm up the stage perfectly for The Swellers and Young Guns.
Our Last Night, We Will All Evolve
Our Last Night has obviously put their heart and soul into ‘We Will All Evolve’, and it pays off. The diversity of sound on the album will appeal to a wide variety of people, satisfying their existing followers whilst expanding their fan base. Evolved, indeed!
The first ever Slam Dunk South at Hatfield University may have been beset with teething problems but luckily that didn’t stop BringthenoiseUK catching up with the lovely Dan O’Conner and Alan Day of Four Year Strong for a quick pre-show chat. So, Crime in Stereo have finally made their highly anticipated return to musical playing devices all over the world, with the release of their newest album “I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone” available on Bridge Nine Records, and believe me, since we heard it, it hasn’t been off ours.
Young Guns, Devil Sold His Soul, Your Demise, Crime In Stereo, The Wonder Years, Sonic Boom Six, Blackhole, Azriel and Random Hand are the latest additions to the already outstanding line up for this years Slam Dunk Festival.

A few years ago, ‘Commit This To Memory’ had become a favourite album for many. Unfortunately for the fans there hadn’t been too many opportunities to catch the band live. But better late than never the Bring the Noise team got the opportunity to witness the American pop-punk bands return to promote the freshly released ‘My Dinosaur Life’, after a long 3 years break.
Slam Dunk Festival Announces 2010 line up
Slam Dunk Festival has become one of the most exciting and popular new festivals in the UK. And this year they are set to continue their growth, taking the giant step of doubling in size. Because of its popularity, the Leeds site and format remains unchanged, though the festival grows with the addition of another site, this time in London, the day before.
On this fine August Bank Holiday, while most of us are still suffering the after effects of Reading and Leeds festivals, some kind soul decided to keep the good-times rolling with a balls out punk rock party at Highbury and Islington’s The Garage.

Bay Area pop-punk band Set Your Goals have announce that they will release their widely anticipated new album ‘This Will Be The Death Of Us’ on July 20th via Epitaph Records, and will be produced by Mike Green (Paramore, The Matches).
