After performing their debut album ‘Orchestra of Wolves’ at Dingwalls only a few hours earlier Gallows move down Camden High Street to the Electric Ballroom to put on one of the most impressive shows of their career – playing ‘Grey Britain’, a production heavy album, in it’s entirety accompanied by a full string section. This last show of their ‘Back to the Dives’ tour would, Frank tells the crowd, be the last time fans would see them before they take a break to record their much anticipated third album (one that rumours across the internet said would never happen).
The First, Swimming With Sharks
The First release their first album, ‘Swimming With Sharks’, with the first single being the aptly named ‘Sit Tight’. A promising release with their brand spanking new line up for 2010, the band from Norfolk are a British rock band with a sound we haven’t heard for a while, what with all the ‘core bands you can’t escape from.
