MUSIC INTERVIEW: Life On The Road With…Noija

Noija make their UK live debut this week as special guests to Griever. Touring in support of their latest single Rebirth, we caught up with the Swedish alt-rockers to hear their top tips and stories from the road.

Favourite thing about touring:

Except from playing shows: connecting with people and hearing what our music means to them.

Least favourite thing about touring:

Finding vegan food.

Five essentials for the road:

Baby wipes
Headphones
Book
Shit load of boxers
Vitamins

Your favourite way to pass the time:

Laughing and sleeping.

“The Most”:

Memorable moment:

Hearing people sing along to our music in a different country for the first time.

Embarrassing moment:

When we played in Aldenhoven, Germany everyone went south. Nick lost his voice and the USB from the computer was glitching so the Window sound went out in the speakers. It was a horrible night.

Outrageous moment:

When we played in Berlin for the first time and the police came in and shut down the show, because the neighbours were complaining.

Drunken moment:

Nick and our photographer Tristan on the boat back to Sweden. Let’s not say anything more haha.

Rewarding moment:

When a fan came up to us in Hamburg and said she drove seven hours, just to see us. That felt surreal.
